make the reservation by yourself.
Currently (end of April 2009) 18 rooms are still availabe in the hotel during the Copen-Tour weekend. Please be aware that these rooms are not anymore pre-booked for attendants of the Copen-Tour and can freely be given away to other partys by the hotel.
Nearby there are also other places/opportunities to stay overnight (e.g. Camping). Please do us the favour and organise it by yourself. If needed we can put up here some more detailed information.
Information about the Copen-Tours on Saturday:
The tours will be "by-guess-and-by-gosh"-tours, i.e. you are given a hand-out with basic information about the route and information about nice places along the route, where you can stop by at your own convenience.
We will not be organising teams, but of course you can team up with other Copens for the day. Therefore it is not going to be a kind of "treasure hunt", comfortable cruising is the motto of the day.
Attached to
this post (click me) are the hand-outs as PDFs for the routes and ZIP-files with route-files for navigation systems.
So you can take a look at the routes beforehand and plan your day with stops at sights at your own convenience. You get more information about towns and sights along the route whe clicking on the links in the PDF-documents.
The ZIP-files contain the route description for a number of navigation systems. Please transfer the correct route-file to your navigation system and/or consult the manual of your navigation system for more details.
Warning!
Unfortunately every manufacturer of navigation systems handles the routing between waypoints differently therefore slight difference to the written route description may occur. We recommend to follow the written route description instead of any navigation system.
I tested the routes with a TomTom device.
